UralVagonZavod received state contracts for the production and supply of T-90M tanks and repair of T-80BV

Alexander Potapov, CEO of Uralvagonzavod Concern, was awarded state contracts for the supply of T-90M tanks, as well as for the overhaul of T-80BV tanks on Tuesday at the Army-2022 forum.

"State contracts are being awarded for the manufacture and supply of T-90M tanks, for major repairs with the modernization of T-80BV tanks," it was announced during the ceremony.

When covering Soviet sight technology there are always some interesting designs and approaches to solving an issue. It is a common fact that the Soviet Union in the 1980s-1990s was quite behind in thermal sight technology.   In 2004, the T-90A (Object 188A1) tank joined the Russian armed forces. It included many fire control system upgrades, a new welded turret, and improved mobility.
