7th separate motorized rifle regiment in the Kaliningrad region received a new BMP-3 variant

According to the press service of the Western Military District, the [7th separate] motorized rifle regiment of the [11th] Army Corps of the Baltic Fleet, stationed in Kaliningrad, received more than 30 modern BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles. Military personnel will begin to master the new equipment at the beginning of the summer training period. The new vehicles were delivered as part of the re-equipment program.

Additionally, the new BMP-3 variant is equipped with mounting lugs for the ability to mount ERA.

Since the beginning of the year, several batches of BMP-3 vehicles have been delivered to the troops.

In January 2021, the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division ( presumably the 70th Motorized Rifle Regiment) stationed in Chechnya received a batch of more than 20 BMP-3 units.

On April 2, 2021, forty BMP-3F units arrived in Vladivostok by train to rearm the battalion of the 155th Marine Brigade.

In the 4th Kantemirovskaya Tank Division (Naro-Fominsk, Moscow region), according to the announced plans, the motorized rifle battalions are being re-equipped with new BMP-3 and BTR-82A vehicles.
