Shvabe develops cooperation with Chinese partners in the field of laser technologies

The laser centre of "Shvabe" is interested in the supply of equipment and components, but also in acquiring production partners in the face of Chinese enterprises, said Evgeny Kuznetsov, CEO of the Stelmakh Polyus Research Institute, at the Russian-Chinese Industrial Business Forum.

"Our institute is the founder of the laser industry of the USSR and has made a significant contribution to the formation of a similar industry in China, with which it has long-standing scientific and industrial ties," Kuznetsov said, quoted in a statement by the press service of the Shvabe holding.

He noted that for more than half a century, the company has managed to preserve and multiply advanced achievements and scientific schools, but also to firmly consolidate the title of a world-class leader and the leading laser centre in Russia in its field of activity.

According to the press service, Kuznetsov informed the forum participants about the progress in the development of the Polyus Technopark and joint projects developing with the PRC.

Over half a year ago, I promised to write an article about T-80 rubber flaps and their purpose, which would have completed the trifecta article collection: T-80 aerodynamic features and  T-80 MBT engine air filtration and dust prevention systems .
