Standard ammunition for the T-14 "Armata" will be ready by the end of 2021

The standard ammunition for the latest T-14 Armata tank, developed by Rosatom enterprises, will be ready by the time the installation batch of these machines is delivered to the Russian Armed Forces at the end of 2021, the developer of this machine, the general Designer of the Ural Design Bureau of Transport Engineering (UKBTM, part of the Uralvagonzavod concern, told reporters on Sunday)

"Armata is presented abroad for the first time at the IDEX-2021 exhibition in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. As Terlikov stated, the Russian party should receive an installation batch of the latest tanks at the end of 2021."

"A separate topic is ammunition. They set very high requirements for power and efficiency, and development is carried out by Rosatom enterprise. Rosatom is the elite of Russia's research and production complex. There is bound to be a success here. Serious enterprises are working, and a serious resource has been attracted. The development of ammunition is synchronized. We have actually docked and coordinated the course of state tests. As a result, the installation batch of tanks will go to the troops with this ammunition," Terlikov said.
